Micro probe analysis on Triassic vermicular limestone in Wufeng, Hubei, China.

The article focuses on a study which examined vermicular limestone from the Lower Triassic Daye Formation at the Dalongping Section in Wufeng, Hubei Province, South China. Results of the study showed that micritic limestone has higher element contents than the vermicular limestone. It also found frequent fluctations of sedimentary conditions in the interbeds of micritic and vermicular limestones.
