Abstract

The article discusses data from an atom smasher in the U.S., called the Tevatron, located at the Fermi National Accelerator Laboratory (Fermilab) in Batavia, Illinois, that hints at the detention of Higgs bosons, which are subatomic particles that hold the key to how all particles get their mass. Reportedly the hints correlate with those seen by researchers working with Europe's Large Hadron Collider (LHC). Differences in data between the Tevatron and the LHC are discussed.
