Abstract
- The article examines trading in and prices of commodity futures in gold. A seven percent decline in gold prices since February, 2012 and a reduction in investments in gold futures by hedge funds and institutional investors are discussed as possible indications that the bull market in gold which has existed since 2011 may be slowing or ending.
