Abstract

The article offers information about the Strategic Environmental Assessment (SEA). It notes that SEA is a formal, systematic process to analyze and address the environmental effects of policies, plans programmes and other strategic initiatives. It also looks into the importance of SEA and compares it with Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA).
