Abstract

The article reports on research that shows that students learn better when they are allowed to move during classroom activities, with a focus on children with attention-deficit/hyperactivity disorder (ADHD). Also discussed are the health benefits of such physical activity, desks that are designed to allow multiple learning positions, and student use of exercise bicycles while reading.
