Abstract
- The article discusses the identification and education of students with disabilities in the U.S. and examines the impact that the Education for All Handicapped Children Act and the Individuals with Disabilities Education Act have had on individuals with disabilities. The author offers his opinions on the importance of identifying disabilities in children at an early age, the education of children with special needs, and the impact that U.S. legislation has had on special education programs.
