Abstract
- The author reflects on the role of cell free deoxyribonucleic acid (DNA) in detecting the malignancy. He informs about the Epstein-Barr virus (EBV) which is a viral nuclear antigen and acts as an anticancer agent in the myelodysplastic syndrome. He further discusses the Kaposi sarcoma herpesvirus (KSHV) in which the proposed viral oncogenic porducts are lytic genes.
