Abstract
- The article offers information on the operations at Lakeland Electric's CD. Mcintosh, Jr. Power Plant (MPP) in the City of Lakeland, Florida. The plant is a microcosm of the entire power generation industry operating fewer hours plus a peaking gas-fired combined cycle plant. The plant plays an expanded role in producing electricity for the public power provider.
