Abstract

The article offers information on the changes in exercise capacity of cardiac asymptomatic hereditary hemochromatosis (HH), in a follow-up after 5-years. It states that treadmill cardiopulmonary exercise tests were performed wit the help of Bruce protocol, where electrocardiography (ECG) tracings, blood pressure and respiratory gas analysis were recorded continuously. It mentions that iron overload caused by HH was reported in systolic and diastolic dysfunction.
