Genetic Differentiation and Crypsis Among Members of the Myco-heterotrophic Pyrola picta Species Complex (Pyroleae: Monotropoideae: Ericaceae).

The article presents a morphological description and genetic examination of Pyrola picta species complex, Pyroleae: Monotropoideae: Ericaceae with the use of amplified fragment length polymorphisms (AFLP) and nucleotide polymorphisms of the nuclear internal transcribed spacer (ITS). Using the parsimony criterion, as well as maximum likelihood and Bayesian models for the phylogenetic analyses of ITS nucleotide sequence polymorphism, allowed provision of estimates for monophyly of multiple taxa.
