Abstract
- The article discusses executive compensation for chief executive officers (CEOs) of U.S. companies in 2011. The article cites data compiled for the newspaper on executive compensation by U.S. research firm Hay Group to state that executive pay generally correlated to the stock performance of a company. The article examines such relationships in the compensation of Oneok Inc. CEO John Gibson, Western Refining CEO Jeff Stevens, and Dean Foods CEO Gregg Engles.
