Abstract
- The article offers an update on politics in Egypt as of May 2012. It talks about the official list of candidates for the first post-revolution presidential election of the country in May, that is said to be drawn from Islamists, independents and the former regime. Also announced is the launch of the Dustour Party on April 28 by Mohamed El Baradei, political liberal who withdrew from the presidential race in January.
