Abstract
- Simulation results for the infinite dilution chemical potential of Lennard-Jones dispheres in a Lennard-Jones solvent are reported as a function of bond length at various temperatures and liquid densities. Comparisons are made with hard dispheres at infinite dilution. Predictions from theory of the infinite dilution chemical potential of linear chains of Lennard-Jones spheres in nonspherical and hydrogen bonding solvents are presented. Comparisons of the theory are made with recent simulation results for flexible chains of Lennard-Jones spheres. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
