Abstract
- The article discusses fracking in Australia as of June 2012, focusing on the nation's use of coal-seam gas (CSG) and liquefied natural gas (LNG), Australia's burgeoning economy, and a map which depicts Australia and the Great Barrier Reef area. A May 17, 2012 report by the Queensland Water Commission on an anticipated drop in water levels due to CSG water extraction is also provided.
