The article focuses on the study of changing trends of carotid artery stenting utilization and carotid endarterectomy (CEA). For past two decades, CEA prevents atherosclerotic stroke. The study comprised of a sample of U.S. hospital discharge records of CEA and CAS. Multiple logistic regression analysis was used to evaluate intervention with specific data elements like age and gender.
