Abstract

The author focuses on the value of focusing on food studies seen by colleges and universities. The author relates the article regarding the emergence of food studies, an academic field which coordinates the food-related instruction sprinkled throughout academia. He adds that the food studies program of the New School in New York City accommodates three core areas, such as the culture and communications and the policy and politics.
