Abstract

Presents a study which investigated experimentally the time-resolved soft x-ray spectra from an empty high cavity target irradiated by wavelength laser. Comparison of the soft x-ray emission spectra with planar targets; Discussion of the evidence on the radiation confinement and the plasma confinement in the cavity geometry; Conclusions.
