Abstract

The article presents information on the decisions by the courts regarding the fidelity and surety law of the U.S. The decision of the Supreme Court of the U.S. on the fidelity law was based on issues like employee dishonesty, forgery, robbery, computer fraud and termination. Five main issues are considered under the surety law namely the rights of surety, bankruptcy, performance bonds, payment bonds and other bonds like injunction bonds, customs and motor vehicle dealer bonds. Information on the decisions of the federal courts and the district courts of the U.S. on the law is also presented.
