The article presents information on the importance of shale gas which is a natural gas extracted from the shale deposits. The chemical industry of the U.S. is surviving as compared to other countries like China and few countries of Europe due to the cheap natural gas even though the economy of the country is stagnant. Information on an annual meeting and a press conference regarding the impact of shale gas on the chemical industry of the U.S. is also presented.
