Abstract

The article discusses computer company Apple Inc. and its successful business operations in China as of July 2012, focusing on the views of Chinese consumers towards Apple Inc. products such as the iPhone smartphone, and it also provides several charts and statistics, including a chart which depicts the average hourly wage of a factory worker in China. There are only six Apple Inc. retail stores in Greater China, despite the fact that many of Apple's products are built in China. It also states that there is a booming counterfeit market in China, including several fake Apple Inc. retail stores in cities such as Kunming, China.
