Abstract
- Suppose <f>G</f> is a series-parallel graph. We prove that if <f>G</f> has odd girth at least <f>6k−1</f> then <f>χc(G)⩽8k/(4k−1);</f> if <f>G</f> has odd girth at least <f>6k+1</f> then <f>χc(G)⩽(4k+1)/2k;</f> if <f>G</f> has odd girth at least <f>6k+3</f> then <f>χc(G)⩽(4k+3)/(2k+1)</f>.
