Abstract: The article offers information on the symposium titled "A Worldwide Response: An Examination of International Law Frameworks in the Aftermath of Natural Disasters" that was held in the U.S. on January 27, 2011. It states that the symposium highlighted the importance of international law in the management of natural disaster crises. It further states that scholars at the symposium also discussed the conflicts between existing legal frameworks and issues that arises during disaster crises.
