Increased Lung Function Decline in Blue-collar Workers Exposed to Welding Fumes.

The article highlights a study which compared the decline in lung function between blue-collar workers exposed and not exposed to welding fumes. Five-year lung function decline was assessed in subjects included in the Etude Santé Travail Et Vieillissement (ESTEV) study. The study found that blue-collar workers with welding fume exposure have accelerated decline in lung function.
