Abstract
- The article considers the misrepresentation of photos in the press as violation of the code of ethics in journalism. The author views that the images of Trayvon Martin, a Florida youth who was killed, in the April 9, 2012 issue of "People Magazine, and the then murder suspect O.J. Simpson in the 1994 issue of "Time" failed to represent fairness and accuracy. It suggests journalists to answer questions before using images, as stated in the Society of Professional Journalists' (SPJ) ethics book.
