Abstract
- The article reports on the success of Alison Cohen's Portland, Oregon-based Alta Bicycle Share. It explains that the company offers bicycle-sharing program with subscription costs ranging from 75 to 100 dollars and an hourly usage fee of between two to 12 dollars per half-hour. The company aims to have almost 16,000 bicycles on the road by the end of 2012.
