Abstract

The article presents a case study of a 5-year-old castrated male Vietnamese pot-bellied pig (Sus scrofa) with ileocecal intussusception. Abdominal auscultation revealed hypermotile gastrointestinal sounds, while transabdominal ultrasonography showed distended loops of small intestine. The article discusses the use of cecal bypass through side-to-side ileocolic anastomosis without ileal transection to treat ileocecal intussusception.
