Abstract

This paper presents the results of research focused on university teachers' professional knowledge, as this construct is a key phenomenon in the development of good training practices in higher education. Briefly, this paper is aimed at showing the complexity involved in professional knowledge for university teachers regarding its structure, origin and manifestations in in-person teaching. This study is grounded on the opinion and prolonged classroom observation of three teaching professionals. The conclusions --aimed at applying the results of this project to the conceptual and operational network of university teacher training-- are developed in the final section. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
