Abstract

The article focuses on the rise of number of black widow spider in Texas. A chart depicts the monthly number of spider bites reported in the state poison centers during 2008-2011. The black widow spider is one of the most dangerous spiders in the U.S., and it inhabits in dry, dark, protected environments outdoors or in basements, sheds, and garages.
