Abstract
- The article presents a study which investigates the cytotoxic activity and chemical constituents of Ranunculus pedatus subspecie (subsp.) pedatus Waldst. & Kit plant in Turkey. The study used various methods including nuclear magnetic resonance (NMR) spectroscopy, column chromatography (CC), and infrared (IR) spectroscopy, to study the extracts in Ranunculus. Study reveals that cytotoxic isovitexin and vitexin may be responsible for the brine shrimp cytotoxicity observed in some extracts.
