Abstract

The article discusses cybernetics, a science of information gathering, storage, transmission and processing that combines findings in philosophy and mathematics and applicable to general laws of control in a network-centric operations (NCO) system. It focuses on the principles of cybernetics which include multidimensional air-ground volume, multifunctionality and unification of efforts. The author attempts to put these principles into effect in combat operations by commanders and staff.
