Abstract

The article discusses OpenFlow technology for Internet Protocol (IP) networks that change traditional computer networks through software-based platforming. Topics include the bidirectional utilization of bandwidth for coordinated data transfer by internal application systems, tenantized networking that preserves virtual machine isolation, and the preservation of IP addresses across subnetworks in game servers. Routing algorithms, smart phone software applications, and global network optimization are mentioned.
