Abstract

The article focuses on a study conducted to analyze the effect of several therapies on the pruritus associated with atopic dermatitis. A meta-analysis was done for the randomized controlled trials in order to compare topical therapies with disease vehicle and also for comparing systemic therapies with placebos. The randomized controlled trials were used to estimate the number of patients and the therapies taken by them.
