Abstract

The article presents an analysis of the benefits of libraries and their users from innovating with library data. It is inferred that data innovation aids libraries to remain relevant to the needs of the users. The author suggests library staffs to develop an entrepreneurial spirit to recognise and develop the potential of the library's data as well as to respond to opportunities that may arise beyond the traditional boundaries of a library.
