This essay forms part of a book of comparative literature that I am working at, entitled The Creative Bilingualism, concerned with some writers who accomplished their work, either successively or simultaneously in Romanian and French. The chapter dedicated to Gherasim Luca deals comparatively with his bilingual work taking into consideration an invention of a peculiar Non-Oedip, understood as a negation of the well-known Oedupus complex, and also a specific non-oedipal type of love, linking his surrealist poetry and fiction to the sound poetry cultivated in the French language.
