Abstract
- The article features a cross-sectional study conducted by M.P. Ponda, J.E. Breslow, et. al., that revealed that remedying a Vitamin D (VD) deficiency among patients with dyslipidemia does not necessarily result in a significant improvement of their blood lipid levels. It also cites a study by A. Gonen, S. Amir, et. al. that analyzed the potential of certain peptide mimotopes of malondialdehyde-modified LDL (MDA-LDL) antigens to serve as useful markers for diagnosing cardiovascular diseases.
