Abstract

The article offers an overview of what can be observed on the sky in October 2012. It offers information on the location of Venus, the rise of the Moon below Jupiter, the shining of Venus of the waning crescent Moon, the zodiacal light, and the crescent moon. It mentions the movement of Mars and the conditions for the Orionid meteor shower. A map illustrates the constellations in the horizon.
