Theory of metamodel and its application in the development and design of enterprise architecture.

In method of product-centric architecture development and design, too much attention is attached to product rather than architecture data, based on this problem, the paper focuses on metamodel theory and the implementation of data-centric thought within the method of metamodeling-based architecture development and design. Through a comparison between the two methodologies, the superiority of the metamodel methodology in developing process and data management is presented. With enterprise architecture modeling tool MAP™ (Model, Analyze, and Publish), an application mode of extending mechanism for metamodeling is presented. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
