Abstract

Based on the analysis of the influence of the hypersonic flight of targets on radar detection, a parameter estimating and compensation method is proposed for target detection. The proposed method can eliminate range and Doppler migration, as a result, it improves the detection performance of hypersonic targets greatly. A method of segment parameter estimation is presented to estimate parameters. Unambiguous Doppler frequencies estimation of forward and back segments of echo signal are used respectively, and the Doppler frequency rate is calculated by using the difference between two Doppler frequencies. This method eliminates the Doppler ambiguity, avoids the estimation of fuzzy factor and reduces the computational cost. Additionally, it reduces the requirement for input SNR. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
