Abstract

From the perspective of complete vehicle control, a solution scheme for integrated longitudinal dynamics control is proposed. In respect of function, the control characteristics and their scopes of application of subsystems are linked together, realizing the optimization of overall performance; with regard to hardware, sophisticated sensors, controllers and actuators are integrated, and a modular on-board test platform is developed; as for software, a longitudinal dynamics coordinated controller is put forward based on hierarchical control architecture, and the control strategies of subsystems on bottom layer are fused effectively. Real vehicle tests are conducted and the results show that the integrated control system developed can avoid mutual interference among subsystems, further improving the comprehensive performance of vehicle in longitudinal movement.
