Abstract: The article presents information on the significant legal developments during the year 2011 that took place in the regions of Canada. The judicial review of the investor and state arbitrations based on the North American Free Trade Agreement, issues related to foreign bribery and the competition and securities law of Canada are discussed. The role of World Trade Organization (WTO) in providing clean renewable power and the immigration law for specialized workers are also discussed.
