Abstract

The article explores the cross-cultural and international inequalities in life expectancy rates, noting the increasing divide between life expectancy in wealthy nations and those of people in developing countries. It addresses the impact of factors including warfare, poverty, and disease and the intersectionality of these factors as contributing to low life expectancy rates. It comments on the significant impact of HIV/AIDS on global health and life expectancy, as well as explores the effects of hunger and modernization.
