- The article looks at Espresso Book Machines from the firm On Demand Books, which are mobile book printing machines that couple a high-output photocopier with a book-binding robot. Topics include the four U.S. public libraries that have book machines, the machines' use in self-publishing, and the comparative benefits of a printing machine and web-based publishing services.
