Abstract
- The article explores the religious sources of welfare policy attitudes. It states that conservative denomination and religious commitment appear to have a conservative effect on welfare attitudes specifically biblical literalism. It further states that age group do not effect the welfare policy attitudes in general population but young age group has some liberalizing effect on this attitude.
