Managerial Performance of Mayors and Professional Municipal Managers: A Tieboutian Assessment.

The article informs about an exploratory study which has which has been conducted to understand the ongoing debate related to the influence of the municipal government on policy outcomes and the managerial performance of mayors and professional municipal managers. It informs that the relative efficiency of two forms of government including mayor-council and council manager is a topic interest for scholars in economics, political science and public administration.
