Abstract: The author draws upon questionable results of public-opinion polls prior to the 1980 and 2004 U.S. presidential elections to support his contention that polls indicating President Barack Obama leads Republican presidential candidate Mitt Romney weeks before the November, 2012 election may not be accurate.
