Abstract
- The article discusses the design, testing, and specifications of weapons bays for the F-35 jet fighters developed by aerospace company Lockheed Martin in 2012. The thermal and acoustic properties of the bays need to be tested against different types of weapons, such as the ground attack GBU-32 Joint Direct Attack Munition (JDAM). Design margins, jet weight, and the Raytheon AIM-120C7/D Advanced Medium-Range Air-to-Air Missile (Amraam) are also mentioned.
