Abstract
- The article discusses the results of a survey conducted in 2011 by the publisher and scholarly organization the Society of Biblical Literature (SBL), which asked members about their use of electronic books (e-books). College teachers' interest in monograph publishing, digital text searchability, and the effect of citations on academic career advancement are discussed, as well as scholars' reading habits, textbook usage, and mobile devices such as Kindles.
