Abstract

The article presents a case study of a 49-year-old man diagnosed with polyneuropathy, organomegaly, endocrinopathy, M protein and skin changes (POEMS) syndromecaused by renal failure. The clinical examination of the patient shows his POEMS syndrome's poor prognosis. The safety and effectiveness of combined dexamethasone and bortezomib for the patients is also pointed out.
