Abstract
- The article presents recommendations for ladder safety. Topics include choosing a ladder the correct style, height, and weight tolerance for the task, checking for hazards such as overhead power lines and ground debris, and placement and climbing of ladders when accessing roofs or upper landings. Also discussed are ladder products such as multipurpose ladders, leveling devices, and outriggers.
