Abstract

The article presents information on librarians in Iraq. The author looks at the Iraq National Library and Archives, librarian Saad Eskander, and the role of the U.S. and the United Nations in assisting Iraqi children. The article also discusses donations made to Iraq libraries and the closure of many school libraries during the Iraq War.
